Mascarpone Stuffed Dates

Ingredients
- 1/8 cup walnuts
- 12 fresh Medjool dates
- 3 ounces mascarpone cheese
- 1 tbsp. dark maple syrup
Instructions
Slice the dates, remove pits, and spread gently to make room for the filling. Add a dollop of mascarpone cheese to each date and top with about one tablespoon of chopped pecans.
Arrange the stuffed dates on a baking sheet lined with baking parchment paper and drizzle with the dark maple syrup.
Broil on the top rack for about two to four minutes or until lightly toasted.
Serve warm or at room temperature.
