VIN BRULÉ

Ingredients
- 3 ½ cups Torresella Pinot Grigio
- 1 ½ cups Mead
- ¼ cup Honey
- 2 Oranges, Juice & Rind
- 2 Star Anise Pods
- 4 Cinnamon Sticks
- 5 Cloves
- Garnishes: Cinnamon Stick and Star Anise
Instructions
Juice two fresh oranges, keeping the rind/zest peel to the side. Add the orange juice and rind peel in a large saucepan. Mix in with the mead, honey, cinnamon sticks, cloves, and star anise.
Heat over medium-high until just steaming, then add the Torresella Pinot Grigio and let it simmer over low heat for 10 minutes. Serve in mason jars, adding a slice of orange to each. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and star anise.
To reheat: Gently rewarm mulled wine in a large pot on the stovetop, over low heat, or pour into a slow cooker and reheat on low, until warm.
